Hidden Secrets of Melbourne
Full-day walking and minivan excursion with lunch
By far the best way to get to know a city is to abandon the car or bus and take to your feet. In the company of an experienced, knowledgeable and professional tour guide, you will be able to immerse yourself in the rich history and grand architecture of the city’s great 19th century buildings and learn about the people who left their mark on the fledgling community.
The walk through Melbourne’s central streets, lanes and arcades also includes many of the city’s finest and most interesting shopping areas.
Morning tea is included, as well as a restaurant lunch with a glass of Australian wine, before we go on to the Melbourne Aquarium. Melbourne Aquarium was established in 1999. Amongst the many diverse species resident are huge Grey Nurse and Broadnose Sevengill sharks.
We complete the day with a visit to the Eureka Skydeck 88. An observation deck in the heart of Melbourne offering unrivalled views of the city below. A fitting and unforgettable finale to the day.
It is recommended that you wear good walking shoes and be prepared for Melbourne’s ‘four seasons in one day’ weather!
