Perth and Fremantle experience

Full-day chauffeur-driven private car excursion with lunch

The excursion starts with exploring Kings Park, a 400-hectare expanse of sweeping parklands and native bush on the slopes of Mount Eliza, giving magnificent views of the city and Swan River. En route to Fremantle we stop at Cottesloe, one of Perth’s most popular riverside beaches. Shaded by pine trees, we pause here to enjoy morning tea overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Fremantle has a far more laid-back, chilled-out feel to it than Perth. ‘Freo’ – as its known to the locals, combines a sense of heritage with a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere and an increasingly cosmopolitan culture. Best-known for its docks, marinas and historic sandstone buildings we head to Victoria Quay to visit the Western Australian Maritime Museum. Nearby at Fishing Boat Harbour, using ingredients fresh from the Indian Ocean, are some of the state’s most popular seafood restaurants and cafés. Here we have a traditional fish and chip lunch.

To finish off this exciting day you board a ferry to sail up the Swan River back to Perth. One final stop at Kings Park allows time to admire the outstanding panorama of Perth and the Swan River before arriving back to the city late afternoon.
