Then it’s your turn to take the controls in the Astronaut Adventure® room’s space-flight simulators at the Astronaut Hall of Fame. Feel the pressure of four times the force of gravity in the G-Force Trainer, discover what it’s like to walk on the moon or pilot a rover across the rocky Martian terrain and carefully guide your Space Shuttle back to a smooth landing.
The NASA Up Close Tour, led by a trained space expert, gives an insider’s view of the space programme and includes visits to the Space Shuttle launch pads, the Vehicle Assembly Building and the Shuttle landing facility.
At lunch you will dine with an actual astronaut and hear space exploration stories while enjoying a delicious three-course meal.
